Help Us Help Springfield Grow
Purpose
As a dynamic women's organization, Junior Service League (JSL) supports and enhances
the Springfield, Ohio, community through innovative community service projects. Through
these projects, JSL seeks to foster interest among its members in the social, economic,
educational, cultural and civic conditions of the Springfield community and its citizens.
What We Do
JSL holds two fund-raisers a year. Kindercloset, a children's and maternity consignment
sale, is held in October. Breakfast with Santa, which includes pictures with Santa, a
pancake breakfast, a raffle drawing and goody bags, is held in December. Funds raised
from these events are distributed throughout the community through grants.
JSL members also serve the community through Meals on Wheels, which provides a
well-balanced meal to shut-ins, and Rainbow Table II, a weekly hot meal program offered to
the community.
General membership meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month, September
through May.
