| The 75th Anniversary Gala: Oh, What A Night! The Junior Service League 75th Anniversary Gala was, by all accounts, a terrific success! The Ballroom of the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Springfield was filled with glitz and glamour during the evening of Saturday, April 19th. People came from near and far – some even flying in from out-of-state – to be here for this very special occasion. League members, spanning in age from young adult to senior citizen, were so happy to meet and greet their fellow league members – some of whom they had not seen in quite a while, while others they were meeting for the very first time. The atmosphere, at times, felt almost like a high school reunion! It was crystal clear that Junior Service League holds a special place in the hearts of so many. What a treat it was to witness it all first-hand! Congratulations, everyone! -Beth Pryor (75th Anniversary Chair) Stay tuned for more information on our next big event!
